Call for papers

Nottingham Trent University, in conjunction with the University Alliance, is hosting a conference on strategic approaches to addressing disparities in undergraduate students’ progression and attainment. The conference will provide a platform for discussion, debate and practice exchange on ways in which Higher Education Institutions can implement effective interventions at a University-wide level.

We are delighted to be welcoming the Rt Hon David Lammy MP as our keynote speaker. His role in raising issues around social mobility and education continues to be nationally and internationally influential.

Proposals are invited for papers that explore strategic approaches to addressing disparities in undergraduate students’ progression and attainment. Contributions are invited on, but not limited to, the following areas: use of data; institution-wide interventions; inclusive curricula and pedagogies; student engagement and retention.

Deadline for proposals: Friday 7TH April 2017
