FW: NetworkED talk from Prof. Robert Allison Vice-Chancellor & President Loughborough University at the LSE

Apologies for cross-posting

Learning Technology and Innovation at the LSE are pleased to host Professor Robert Allison Vice-Chancellor & President Loughborough University who will be speaking at our 'Network ED: Uncertain Futures' series of public talks and debates. His talk will be held on Wednesday March 1st at 2.30pm and will be held in KSW G.01.  Book your free ticket for this event here  http://bit.ly/2lgAlSy

Professor Allison will be discussing the role that learning technology and innovation have played in the successes enjoyed by Loughborough University and the challenges he sees arising from the 'uncertain futures' that will shape Higher Education over the next five years.  In the areas of learning technology and education (especially the NSS) the University has consistently been highlighted as high-performing and innovative, with a strong and embedded commitment to the student experience.  We hope this will be a provocative and engaging discussion.

We have just confirmed our next two speakers in this exciting series as the current Head of Google Education in Europe, Liz Sproat (10th May) and the Senior Vice President UK Higher Education & International Qualifications at Pearson, Andy Moss (14th June).

This is an exciting series of talks, all of which will address the fundamental issues and debates around the Uncertain Futures for Higher Education in a post-Brexit, post-Trump world.

Regards

Peter
