Mobile technologies for learning in developing countries

Venue: Lecture Theatre 3 - Management School, Lancaster University

Professor Mpine Makoe, University of South Africa and Professor Mikko Ruohonen, University of Tampere, Finland (Visiting Academics). In this public lecture Professors Mpine Makoe and Mikko Ruohonen will present findings from their fundamental research about how mobile technologies are being developed and used to support learning in developing countries. The research will consider the ways in which this has been achieved, challenges faced, outcomes arising, and prospects for the future. The academics will offer fascinating insights into practices that already exist within remote and rural areas of Africa and India.

This will be followed by a question & answer session and a drinks reception.
