Re: FW: Creativity in the Professions Research Network event 19th May

The Creative Campus: Campus as Classroom

Wednesday 19th May 2010, University of Kent (Canterbury Campus)

From the labyrinth to the woods, from Architecture to Forensic Science: you are invited to join staff and students at the University of Kent, in a critical exploration of new teaching and learning spaces developed through Kent's Change Academy project, the Creative Campus.

From London, the new fast link from St. Pancras International and Stratford International (east London), to Canterbury West, will whisk you there in less than an hour. If you'd like to meet others travelling to this event, sign up to travel with colleagues and network as you go.

This event will be hosted by Kent's Unit for the Enhancement of Learning and Teaching. Arrive from 10am for coffee; event commences at 11am. We will close at around 3.50pm, and you are warmly invited to join us at 4pm for the official launch of the Marlowe Building's new foyer, designed by one of Kent's Architecture students.

The event will take place both indoors and outdoors (including woodland - dress code informal, sensible shoes essential, umbrellas provided!) Two artists will be resident for the day. We invite you to bring your own camera and contribute to an on-line installation which will be created afterwards to reflect the day's events.

The event is wheelchair accessible, but please get in touch in advance if you have specific access questions or requirements.

Please book at  http://thecreativecampus.eventbrite.com/

Kind Regards,
